PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router which can inexpensively connect plural and independent terminals to Internet. SOLUTION: The router 10 repeats a packet between the plural terminals 20 specified by a local address LA1 and Internet 30. Once it has received the packet addressed to Internet from the terminal 20, a connection request is transmitted to Internet, a given global address GA2 is acquired from Internet, the given global address GA2 is made to correspond to the local address LA1 and it is stored in a memory. When repeating the packet transmitted from the terminal 20 to Internet 30, an originating source address in the packet is converted into the given global address GA2 from the local address LA1 and a temporary global address GA2 in the packet is converted into the local address LA1 in repeating the packet transmitted to the terminal 20 from Internet 30. |
