Roller bearing cage with two side-rings

A roller bearing (5) cage (1) has two side-rings (2,3) which are linked by a series of cross-pieces (4) with the roller bearing, forming side-pockets (6). The side-rings each have axial projections (11) resting against the roller end-faces. The arrangement prevents axial transposition between the roller and cage during insertion. The projections are filigree or elastic. Normal operating tolerances are established after a few rotations.
