<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing the subject product capable of realizing a deep and a clear color in dyeing with an acid and/or a reactive dye by presenting a specific copolymer on the surface of a polyester-based fiber in a product produced by using the polyester-based fiber or the same fiber mixed with another fiber. SOLUTION: This method for dyeing a polyester-based fiber product is constituted by immersing the polyester-based fiber consisting of' an ultra fine fiber having <=0.1de fineness, or a product thereof such as a yarn, a knitted or woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric or a sheet like material produced by mixed spinning, fiber mixing, doubling, mixed twisting or mixed knitting or weaving the fiber with other fibers such as a nylon, a wool, a silk, etc., into a solution containing an aromatic vinyl compound such as styrene with a vinylamine equivalent compound such as N-vinylformamide, copolymerizing the both of the above components at >=60 deg.C temperature for presenting a copolymer having 100-200000 molecular weight on the surface of the polyester-based fibers, then treating the fiber at >=50 deg.C, preferably >=100 deg.C under a pressure with an acid bath such as hydrochloric acid, and then dyeing with an acid and/or a reactive dye.</p> |
