摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a vehicle traveling by automatic operating road system (AHS) and improve the cost performance by providing a vehicle position detecting magnetic circuit having a pair of permanent magnets and a yoke for mutually connecting the permanent magnets. SOLUTION: In a vehicle position detecting magnetic circuit 10, the N-pole surface 13a of the magnetic circuit 10 is buried in parallel to a traveling road surface 2a, and a cylindrical ferromagnetic yoke 11 is arranged between a pair of cylindrical permanent magnets 12. A nonmagnetic cover 13 is provided on the circumferential part so as to protect the permanent magnets 12 and the ferromagnetic yoke 11 from an impact in traveling of a vehicle. The magnetic circuit 10 is arranged so as to be slightly protruded from the traveling road surface 2a on the vehicle traveling side, so that an effective magnetic fluxΦ1 generated from the upper surface 13a can be easily detected by the magnetic sensor of a vehicle. The magnetic circuits are arranged at prescribed intervals L in the traveling direction of vehicle, and the sectional areas of the permanent magnets 12 and the yoke 11 in the magnetic pole direction N-S are set equal to each other to simplify the structure.
