PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a wettability and safety by coating the appliance with a compsn. contg. specific wt.% of a copolymer which contains the repeating units respectively expressed by the prescribed formulas at specific weight ratios and has a specific number average mol.wt. in terms of polystyrene. SOLUTION: The copolymer consisting of repeating units expressed by the formula I to V (hereafter expressed by the formula I, etc.) is used. The weight ratio of the formula I: the formula II+III or IV: the formula V is specified to 1:98:1 to 20:70:10 and the weight ratio of the formula II+III or IV is specified to 70:30 to 95:5. The number average mol.wt. in terms of polystyrene by GPC measurement using tetrahydrofuran as a solvent is specified to 2,000 to 100,000. The copolymer is incorporated at 1 to 50wt.%. in a thermoplastic resin and the appliance is coated with the resin. In the formula, (n) denoted an integer from 2 to 200; (q) denotes an integer from 1 to 200; :R<3> denotes the formula VI to the formula VIII: Xa denotes an atom group which can be univalent cation species; Xb denotes a hydroxyl group, amino group, etc.; Xc denotes 4 to 20C perfluoroalkyl group-contg. group; and R<1> to R<10> independently denotes hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups or the like. |
