PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material imparting sufficiently high developed color density, having sufficiently high color forming sensitivity, excellent color forming properties and good image preservability (weatherability). CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal color forming layer containing a color forming substance composed of a colorless or light- colored leuco dye and a developer reacting with the color forming substance at the time of heating to develop a color is provided on a support, as the developer, a mixture of 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and 4 4'- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone is used. |
