SUBSTANCE: reactor for liquid- phase oxidation includes horizontal cylindrical housing divided into chambers by vertical partitions which are so located that form free space above them; device has also pipe line for introducing the starting products into first chamber, pipe line for removal of oxidate from last chamber, pipe line for feeding oxidizing gas, pipe line for discharge of secondary vapors of oxidation, pipe line for removal an introduction of circulating reaction mixture; device is also provided with manifold of circulation of secondary vapors of oxidation located in parallel with its axis in space above partitions or above housing; it is brought in communication with free space of first and last chambers; manifold is provided with one or several injection devices.
