PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove a mateirallic oxide such as a clad or the like and to desalt by providing an anion exchange resin layer packed with an anion exchange resin and a mixed bed resin layer provided in the downstream side of the anion exchange resin layer and packed with an anion and cation exchange resin. SOLUTION: In a condensate treating device 1, the condensate generated by the condensation of steam in a power generation plant or the like is fed to desalting columns 2a, 2b... in series through condensate introducing pas sages 3a, 3b... to remove the clad and to be desalted. In such a case, the clad is removed when the condensate is passed through the anion exchange resin layers 6a, 6b... and the condensate is desalted at the time of passing through the mixed bed resin layers 5a, 5b... in the downstream side. And the treated water is taken out from treated water passages 4a, 4b... As a result, the metallic oxide such as the clad or the like is effectively removed from the condensate and the clogging of the mixed bed resin layer caused by the flow-in of the clad is prevented to efficiently desalt the condensate. |
