PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a counter flow by controlling the opening of a fuel injection valve in the state of pressure in a cylinder higher than combustion pressure in a direct injection type gasoline internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A crank angle position just before pressure in a cylinder becomes higher than combustion pressure is set up as a limitter crank angle position #FLIMCA on fuel supply pressure to a fuel injection valve. Even before injection time corresponding to required fuel quantity elapses from the beginning of injection, in the case where the limitter crank angle position #FLIMCA is attained during the injection, the injection is forcedly stopped at that time. |
