PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidance lamp lighting device of which the kinds of lighting device to turn on a guidance lamp can be lessened, with which an efficient guidance lamp can be produced, and which can cope with alteration of a guidance lamp panel in a work field where the guidance lamp is to be installed. SOLUTION: A bar code 4 to distinguish the type of a guidance lamp panel 1 is formed in the guidance lamp panel 1 and a plurality of prescribed brightness values corresponding to the types of guidance lamp panels 1 are obtained by one lighting device 2, which turns on the lamp 3 of a guidance lamp, by providing the lighting device 2 with a panel detector 5 to read out the bar code 4 on a guidance lamp panel 1, a light modulating level setting circuit 7 to set the light modulating level based on an output signal of the panel detector 5, and a lighting circuit 8 such as an inverter which produces an output corresponding to the light modulating level set by the light modulating level setting circuit 7. |
