PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted connector for a PC-card connector, designed so that even in the case of a two-slot connector for a PC card, surface mounting can be achieved easily at low cost. SOLUTION: This surface-mounted connector 10 includes a housing 11 which is made to abut to the surface of a PC-card two stage-slot connector from which four lines of contact pins project, a plurality of recesses 12 formed in the housing to accommodate the contact pins and arranged in four lines vertically passing through the housing, and contact leads 13, 14 each having a contact part that can make contact with the contact pin held in the recess, and having a mounting part that extends vertically toward a side edge on the lower surface of the housing, the contact leads being such that relatively long contact leads 13 extending into the inner ones of the four lines of recesses and relatively short contact leads 14 extending into the outer recesses are placed alternately on the side edges. |
