MANUFACTURE OF WIRE ASSEMBLY, AND INSERTING DEVICE OF WIRE WITH TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the terminal-connector connecting process by performing a specified operation in the manufacture of a wire assembly by inserting the terminal of a wire with terminal to a connector. SOLUTION: An inserting device has an inserting unit 50 for inserting the terminal of a wire with terminal (TW) to a supplied connector housing C and a wire supplying unit 30 having a holding tool 20 for holding the TW in the opened state capable of holding a part of the terminal and having a positioning surface for positioning the TW to the inserting unit 50 in such a manner as to be capable of directly delivering it. By use of this device, the terminal of the preliminarily manufactured TW is partially opened in such a manner as to be capable of delivering the TW in the state where the terminal is prevented from slip off and held by the holder 20, the terminal of the held TW is held and received by the hand of the inserting unit 50, and the received terminal is directly inserted to the connector C by this hand.
