The electro-acoustic converter includes piezo-electric elements (2) fastened at a carrier (1), whereby the piezo-electric elements are covered on their surface area with respectively a coat (4) of permanently elastic insulation material, which consists preferably of a tube pushed on the respective piezo-electric element. The tube has preferably been shrunk on the respective piezo-electric element, and the coat and/or tube is connected through gluing with the respective piezo-electric element. The coats and/or tubes tower over the frontal end (2a) of the piezo-electric elements, and the piezo-electric elements are electrically connected over their other frontal end (2b) with the carrier, forming a common electrode of the piezo-electric elements.
