Agglomeration of poorly soluble and hydrolysis sensitive materials
摘要
Process of agglomeration of poorly soluble and hydrolysis sensitive materials in which the material, in powder form, is allowed to fall, together with a water-soluble powdered binding material, into a steam atmosphere at 85-105 deg C. where it spends 0.5-10 seconds. Further free-fall takes place during which drying occurs and contact between primary particles is caused by liquid bridges in the condensate (in which the binding material is dissolved) and only a small amount due to solid bridges. Final drying involves an integrated flow-bed system and the product has a water content of less than 5 (preferably less than 1) wt.%.
