PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin compsn. excellent in scratch resistance by compounding a crystalline polypropylene resin with a specific amorphous polypropylene in a specified wt. ratio. SOLUTION: A crystalline polypropylene resin having an m.p. of 120-176 deg.C is obtd. by polymerizing propylene alone or its mixture with anα-olefin in the presence of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst. An amorphous polypropylene resin having a polydispersity index Mw/Mn of 5 or lower and an n-hexane-insols. content at 25 deg.C of 2wt.% or lower is obtd. by polymerizing propylene in the presence of a metallocene catalyst represented by the formula (wherein M is a transition metal of the group 4; Cp is cyclopentadienyl, indenyl, fluorenyl, etc.; A is an element of the group 16; B is an element of the group 14; X<1> and X<2> are each H, halogen, a 1-20C hydrocarbon group, 1-20C alkoxy, 1-20C amide, etc.; and R<1> to R<6> are each H, halogen, etc.). The crystalline and the amorphous polypropylenes are mixed together and kneaded in a wt. ratio of (5:95)-(95:5) to give the target polypropylene resin compsn.
