Support bracket for paint roller

The paint roller is supported on an L-shaped bracket (1) with one limb forming the handle and the other limb through the middle of the hollow roller (3). A plastics moulded grip (2) is clipped to the handle section and has a shaped section (21) which has a snap fitting grip inside the hollow end of the roller. The other end of the roller is closed by a snap fitting cover. The roller is hollow and is braced by radial ribs. The open end has a tapering profile with an inner groove (5) gripped by the shaped ends of the grip fingers (22,23) of the grip section. The outer surface of the roller is covered by a flock layer to hold paint.
