PURPOSE:To contrive cost reduction and the simplification of packing operation by engaging the edges of a hold-down sheet firmly into an inclined groove provided in a cushioning block. CONSTITUTION:A pair of oppositely positioned cushioning blocks 10 is provided with a recess part 15 engageable with each end of a printer 12 and with a notch part 16 for receiving each side of a paper guide 13 and an inclined groove 17 formed in its upper part. After supporting the printer 12 and the paper guide 13 with the cushioning blocks 10, the edges 11a of a hold-down sheet 11 are firmly engaged into the inclined groove 17 of the cushioning block 10, whereby a suitable pressing force is exerted on the upper surface of the paper guide 13 to enssure the supporting of the printer 12 and the paper guide 13. Since there is no need for bending operation and attachment of the cushioning material in this way, the working cost can be reduced considerably and the packing operation can be simplified. |
