PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the inclined angle of a propeller shaft, in other words to materialize more horizontal situation, by positioning the pivotal supporting shaft of a propelling unit in a side lower than the rear part upper surface of a hull and arranging the propeller shaft such that the extended line of the axial center of the propeller shaft is passed through a part closed to the pivotal support shaft. SOLUTION: A pivotal support shaft 11 is positioned in a side lower than the rear part upper surface 6 of a hull 3 and a propeller shaft 18 is arranged so that the extended line of its axial center 20 is passed through a part close to the support shaft 11. Thus, the front edge side of the propeller shaft 18 is set lower than the rear part upper surface 6 of the hull 3 and accordingly the inclined angle of the propeller shaft 18 is made smaller. That is, more horizontal situation is realized. Thus, even when a ship 1 travels in a place where water grasses grow in the soil of a shallow water bottom, the sticking of the water grasses to the propeller shaft 18 is prevented. |
