PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic part-mounting device which is capable of accurately positioning an electronic part protecting it against damage by a method wherein a taping part is sent by pitch over a different distance with a displacing mechanism, an electronic part is vacuum-sucked, an XY table which holds a board is positioned, and the electronic part is mounted on the board. SOLUTION: Electronic parts mounted by a mounting head A are stored in a part feeder B as attached on tapes wound on reels 3. The tape is controlled in feed pitch by the tape feed pin of the part feeder B, fed at a prescribed stroke, transferred just under a vacuum-sucking head 54, and the vacuum-sucking head 54 is made to descend to vacuum-suck an electronic part. The vacuum- sucking head 54 is sent to a visual recognition section E, and the position of the electronic part is detected by a camera. The detected position data of the electronic part is fed back to a control device, whereby an XY table C is positioned. The vacuum-sucking head 54 is moved over a board 8 to mount an electronic part on the board 8. |
