PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To withstand use conditions such as transmission of high torque at a high temperature for a long period of time by a method wherein a phenol resin molding material in which hardening reaction advances within a range of a specific flow degree is molded in a tablet form, and after preheating, it is charged into a mold, and compression molded by heating and pressurizing. SOLUTION: At first prior to compression molding for making a phenol resin molding material into a product form, a tablet of the molding material is molded. As the molding material, that of a flow degree within a range of 3 to 1.5g by a mono flow method specified in JIS K 6911 is used. Then, the tablet is preheated. The preheated tablet is immediately charged into a molding tool held at a specific temperature. A core corresponding to a bonding hole 2 of a pulley 4 is formed at the center of the cavity of a female mold of the mold. Such the mold is used, and after pressurizing at a specific pressure, the molded pulley 4 is taken out. The thermosetting resin made pulley 4 has high strength, high hardness, and abrasion resistance. |
