<p>Systems for certifying the transmission, reception and content of a facsimile are disclosed. The system includes a facsimile transmission/reception device (12) in which signals received for each facsimile are recorded in a memory (MF1-MF8), an identification device (14) for identifying characteristics of the sender and addressee of the facsimile, a decision device (16) that uses identification characteristics and specific criteria to determine whether or not to forward the received facsimile to the addressee and optionally send a message to the sender, and a recording device (18) for recording the received facsimile on a non-rewritable recording medium.</p> |
