<p>There is provided an improved apparatus (100, 100a) for recovery of sea-bed material. Known apparatus suffer from problems such as low recovery rate and capital cost. The invention, therefore, provides a recovery apparatus (100, 100a) comprising a vehicle (105, 105a) upon which are mounted a duct (115, 115a) permitting communication between the sea-bed and a location remote therefrom, means to introduce sea-bed material into the duct (115, 115a) and means to advance sea-bed material through the duct (115, 115a).</p> |
