<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and developer capable of reducing circumferential speed ratio of a developing sleeve to a photoreceptor drum, and forming the excellent image. SOLUTION: A copying machine is provided with an optical system for lighting an original and guiding the light reflected on the original to the photoreceptor drum 10. The electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drum 10 by being exposed by the optical system is developed by a developing device 16. The developer D fed by the developing device 16 contains silicon of 4 to 8wt.%, and contains iron-based carrier C having average particle diameter of 25 to 50μm. By using this carrier C, the transporting capacity of the toner T is improved, thereby reducing the circumferential speed ratio of the developing sleeve 34 to the photoreceptor drum 10.</p> |
