摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an accurate maximum entropy method(MEM) frequency analysts by processing the input signal by the FET process and the MEM in parallel, outputting the FET and MEM power spectral levels, and correcting the latter in response to the former. SOLUTION: The input signal 101 is frequency analyzed by the FET arithmetic process 1 and MEM arithmetic process 2, and the FET and MEM power spectral levels 102, 103 are obtained respectively. The FET output maximum value retrieval process 3 and the MEM output maximum retrieval process 4 retrieve the maximum values of the levels 102, 103 respectively and obtain the FET and MEM maximum levels 104, 105. The MEM level adjusting coefficient calculating process 5 calculates the ratio of the level 105 against the level 104 and output the MEM level adjusting coefficient 106. The MEM power spectral level correcting process 6 multiplies the level 103 by the coefficient 106 and outputs the accurate level 103. An accurate MEM frequency analysis can be made by this method even when multiple pure tone signals are contained in the signal 101.</p>
