A stereoscopic television camera (10) views a scene, and generates a stereoscopic pair of images. From the differences between the images a microcomputer (18) calculates the disparity field of the scene. The disparity field is used to enable control signals to be provided to a camera, which may be the stereoscopic camera (10) itself. |
