PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt in which the end parts are not damaged by wear, and the wear resistance and the impact resistance are excellent, and manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: In a conveyor belt of which both end parts of a belt body 1 are welded with protection members 2, the protection member 2 is made of thermoplastic resin material equal to the thermoplastic resin constituting the belt body 1 or having melting temperature of±20 deg.C difference against the melting temperature of the thermoplastic resin constituting the belt body 1, and the protection member 2 is welded extending from the end part to the surface of the belt body 1.
