FIELD: microbiology, food industry. SUBSTANCE: strain Bifidobacterium breve 79-119 is isolated from intestine content of healthy breast-fed infant. Strain multiplicates actively on nutrient media of different composition and milk fermenting their for 16-24 h culturing and solid, pretty taste clot forms at high content of live bifidobacteria in 1 ml (lg 9). Strain produces acids and shows antagonistic activity with respect to pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms. Strain shows resistance to some antibacterial preparations. EFFECT: enhanced quality of the strain.
