PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excess absoption of a bankbook and to improve bankbook dealing efficiency by starting the counting of carrying quantity by means of the passage of a bandbook uppef end at a reference position and calculating correction quantity at the time of setting the bankbook at an entry position by means of carrying quantity and printing row information. SOLUTION: When the bankbook upper end passes a reference position detecting means 25, a counting means 3 starts the counting of carrying quantity. Then, the carrying of the bankbook is continued till a bankbook lower end passes a position detecting means 2, page mark information is read when a page mark passes a reading means 8 in the midst of carrying, a holding means 55 holds it, the carrying of the bankbook is stopped when the bankbook lower end passes the position detecting means 2 and magnetic stripe information is read so as to be transmitted to a host device 99 by a control means 1 with a connecting means 4. Printing row information and printing information from the host device 99 are held in a storage means 5 and an arithmetic means 15 calculates correction quantity for setting the bankbook at a printing position by the printing row information and carrying quantity counted by the counting means 3. |
