<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain increase in cost and make a system compact by connecting a plurality of label issuing units to one information controller in series, transmitting data for issuing labels serially, and increasing only the number of the label issuing units according to the increase of the number of lines. SOLUTION: A plurality of label issuing units 2-N are connected serially to one data controller 1 via a communication line L. The data controller 1 is composed of a so-called 'pasocon' (personal computer) and serially transmits label issuing data to each level issuing unit 2-N. Only the number of label issuing units may be increased according to the increase of the number of lines in this way and with the serial transmission the wiring, etc., is reduced, and therefor even if the number of the lines increases the increase of cost is restrained to the minimum. By combining the labeller 13 into the label issuing unit 2-N in a monolithical form, and using one data controller 1 for the corresponding label issuing units, the whole system is made compact.</p> |
