PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent separation and a crack of a joining part without deteriorating cell performance by using a bond composed of SiO2 and CaO having the specific mole ratio in order to join mutual gas separator materials, the gas separator materials and a cell material. SOLUTION: In a solid electrolytic fuel cell, a separator main body 6 of a gas separator and frame bodies 7 and 8 are joined together, or the frame bodies 7 and 8 and YSZ sintered body-made electrolyte 5a are joined together. When there are joined together, a bond which contains SiO2 and CaO and on which its rate is [SiO2 :CaO=1:(0.5 to 2)(mole ratio)] is used. To put it concretely, mixed powder SiO2 powder and CaO powder is applied to a joining object surface as slurry, and joining object surfaces are brought into contact with each other, and are joined together by baking them by applying a load. It is desirable that a material mainly composed of MgO and MgAlO4 is used as a gas separator material and a Y2 O3 stabilizing ZrO2 , type ceramic material is used as a cell material. |
