Jet engine for hypersonic aircraft

The jet engine has a turbine shaft output engine and a high pressure compressor (pref. turbine high pressure compressor), a combustion chamber, and pref. a Laval nozzle. The turbine shaft output engine drives the compressor. The compressor takes in fresh atmospheric air only. The engine exhaust gases are removed, so that they can not be sucked in by the compressor. Only the air taken-in and compressed by the compressor is fed into the combustion chamber and the nozzle.
