PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a honing tool against a fall or a vibration by expanding an introduction guide into a workpiece machining hole, and machining a workpiece, with the honing tool aligned with the workpiece machining hole. SOLUTION: An introduction guide 10 is kept in close contact with a non- deformation part so as to be slidable vertically via an outer push rod 3, an outer cone 8 and an expansion plate 9 on the operation of a guide hydraulic expansion device, thereby aligning a honing tool 1 with a cylinder bore 21. In this state, while diamond sticks 7 are being gradually expanded, a hardened part is roughly honed with the diamond sticks 7 on the rotation of a main spindle and the vertical motion of the honing tool 1 over a short stroke. |
