A pump incorporates a housing (10) with suction and pressure connections (18, 20) to a housing chamber (12), which contains a rotor (22) eccentrically located. The circumference of the rotor has numerous blades (24) which are supported on the inner circumference of the cylindrical housing (12). The rotor blades are located so that they cannot slide, and are pressed against the circumferential housing wall (28). The rotor blades pref. consist of plastic and the pump housing and rotor pref. consist of teflon.
