PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain small the deviation of a pixel forming position at the time of each scanning, and to form a highly colorful image by similarly setting the speed change of a carriage at the time of each scanning even if the position of the carriage is deviated before scanning for printing operation by the operation except the printing operation of the image. SOLUTION: When a carriage is disposed at a cleaning position C and a print head is cleaned, the carriage is moved to an overlap inverting position PO exceeding the carriage starting position PS, then inverted to the starting position PS, and thereafter the carriage is started as usual. |
