<p>C-Glycoside derivatives represented by general formula (I), wherein R1 represents C¿1-18? alkyl or phenyl-C1-12 alkyl; R?2¿ represents hydrogen, hydroxy or acylamino represented by the formula NHCOX (wherein X represents C¿1-6? alkyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heteroaryl or C1-6 alkyl having aryl or heteroaryl at the end); and when R?2¿ is hydrogen or acylamino NHCOX, then R?3 and R4¿ are different from each other and each represents D-galactopyranosyl, L-fucopyranosyl or hydrogen; when R2 is hydroxy, then R3 represents D-galactopyranosyl and R4 represents L-fucopyranosyl or hydrogen, or R3 represents L-fucopyranosyl and R4 represents D-galactopyranosyl or hydrogen, or R3 represents hydrogen and R4 represents L-fucopyranosyl. The compounds have the activity of inhibiting cell adhesion and are useful as a drug for treating and ameliorating diseases such as inflammation, ischemic reflow disorders, autoimmune diseases or cancerous metastasis.</p> |
