Connector for back panel wirings

The connector has a multiple plug formed as a rectangular housing (1), open at one side. This plugs to the plug of a back-wiring panel (6). It also has a multiple female contact strip (8). The latter plugs into the plug (1) and has recess chambers (11). It is fixedly connected to a circuit board. The male and female contacts are arranged in parallel in several rows. The walls of the chambers (11) have slits (12) which surround the chambers. Conductive screen elements (13,14) are laid in these slits and are connected to a potential cage. The base of the plug (1) also has slits (4) around the plug and the screen elements are laid in these. The screen elements are formed of transverse (13) and long (14) screen plates. Those plates (13,14) in the front of the chambers (11) are provided with cuts of given width with the corners bent in a given direction. Thin contact pins (3) are anchored in the plug strip (1) at the plate cross-points and connected to earth. These pins (3) contact the screen plates (13,14) at four points.
