The present invention discloses a holding collar comprised by a first wound metal strip portion (10) referred to as an "internal" portion and having two radial folds adjacent a first end (10a), thereby forming a "lug" (16), and a second strip portion (12) referred to as an "external" portion, that is fixed on its first end (12a) to the outer surface of the internal portion (10), having a wave (20) that forms a resiliency reserve, which is provided in a second end (12b) of a hook (18), adapted to be hooked behind the lug (16) when the collar is holding a user, and which includes an "intermediate" portion (22) located between the wave (20) and hook (18), said intermediate portion extending substantially along the periphery of the internal portion (10) characterized in that it comprises a covered zone (24) adjacent the second end, covered by the intermediate part (22). The collar includes first and second projecting means (32a, 34) respectively formed in the intermediate part (22) of the external portion (12) and the covered zone (24) of the internal portion (10), said projecting means being suitable to cooperate with each other to set a limit to the resiliency reserve use. |
