摘要 <p>The method for acquiring and processing a satellite earth observation image includes use of at least one CCD detector array or strip moving past an observation area. A number of pixels are acquired, and a quincunx is sampled. The row and channel pitches of the quincunx sampling are such that the image spectrum is located mainly in a region of the Fourier plane where the modulation transfer function is significant and aliasing is limited. The sampling may be carried out using at least two bars of matrices of detectors of the same pitch, extending perpendicularly w.r.t. their directions of displacement. They are shifted by an integer number plus a fraction of the pitch measurement parallel to their direction of displacement. The sampling time of these two bars is equal to the inverse of the cut-off frequency of the detector elements.</p>
