A blown plastic water container for a hot water prepn. unit, with a base seam, has reinforcing fibres in the wall to allow the container to be used as a pressure container. A water side zone (6) and an external zone (4) of the well cross section are fibre-free. The fibres are uninterrupted in the central zone (5). The fibres are pref. glass fibres or carbon fibres. The plastic is pref. polypropylene.
