PURPOSE: To provide the representative connection method in which a terminal equipment close to a caller is called. CONSTITUTION: Upon the receipt of an incoming call in terms of a representative connection number to a called exchange 1, the called exchange 1 converts the representative connection number into plural mobile equipment numbers based on a conversion table 1a, an idle mobile equipment is selected among plural mobile equipments 7 based on an idle busy display table 1b, a location of a caller is specified, the center position is indexed and the center position and the mobile equipment number are sent to a caller equipment 3. The caller equipment 3 calculates a distance up to each of base stations 5a-5n based on the center position and calls a base station closer to the center position sequentially. Upon receipt of a call signal, the base station calls the mobile equipments 7 through a radio channel. Upon receipt of the call signal from the base station, the mobile equipment 7 calls the user. When the user replies the call, a reply signal is returned to the base station and then the call is connected. |
