The invention relates to formulations for treating diarrhoea in animals comprising at least one complex carbohydrate, at least one of which is rice flour, and at least one monosaccharide in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. In a further aspect, the invention provides a method of treating diarrhoea in animals by administering to an animal an oral solution containing an effective amount of at least one complex carbohydrate, at least one of which is rice flour, and at least one monosaccharide in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. |
