PURPOSE: To make it possible to conduct high sensitive measuring of oxidation lipoprotein in blood plasma by using an antibody recognizing an antigen generated by the oxidation of phospholipid. CONSTITUTION: When an antibody recognizing an antigen generated by the oxidation of phospholipid is obtained by actually infecting a proper animal with porridge-like stiffened focus, and when an epitope to be recognized is resulting from a structure generated by the oxidation of phosphatidylcholine under the coexistence of peptide, the effect becomes more sure. A sample to be measured is blood plasma or a blood serum component obtained by separating components from sampled blood from a testee, or preferably sampled blood after adding an anti-coagulating agent such as heparin or the like, by a centrifugation method. In measuring, the blood plasma and/or a lipoprotein portion is diluted to adequate concentration. An oxidation phospholipid specific antibody is touched to the same so as to evaluate quantitatively, for instance, in a form of the ng amount of oxidation LDL per oneγm of LDL protein or the like.
