PURPOSE: To prevent developers from sticking to an electrostatic charging means even if these developers splash from a developing means by providing the electrostatic charging means with a film member so as to cover the electrostatic charging means on the downstream side from the charging means in the rotating direction of an electrophotographic photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge frame 10 has a film member 27 as a splashed toner preventive member for preventing the adhesion of the toners splashing from the developing unit 4 to a primary electrostatic charging roller 8. The film member 27 is disposed spreading in the longitudinal direction so as to cover the electrostatic charging roller 8 on the developing unit 4 side from the primary electrostatic charging roller 8 built into the cartridge frame 10. Then, even if there are the toners 4h splashing from the developing unit 4, the toners are shielded by the filter member 27 and, therefore, the adhesion of the splashed toners 4h at the primary electrostatic charging roller 8 does not arise. The film member 27 is formed longer than the irradiation range in the main scanning direction of a laser beam. |
