PURPOSE: To reduce the noise emitted by an iron core of a stationary induction apparatus. CONSTITUTION: This steel sheet is a grain oriented silicon steel sheet containing >=99.5% iron and/or a grain oriented silicon steel sheet having >=2.1T saturation magnetic flux density. By regulating the tension, applied in the rolling direction of the steel sheet by the film formed on the surface of the steel sheet, to >=0.5kg/mm<2> and also regulating the ratio of size between basic wave component of magnetostriction and n-th harmonic wave component so that it satisfies n.λn /λ0 <=0.126, the noise emitted by an stationary induction apparatus such as transformer can be reduced. |
