<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of the connection of a wire harness by forming the entirety or the part of the groove sidewall of a protector of a unit sidewall plate, sidewise setting outward only at the unit sidewall plate of the part of the branch wire bundle of the harness as a draw-out hole, and increasing the width of the plate as the maximum diameter of the bundle. CONSTITUTION: A protector 1 is formed of a U-shaped long protector body 2 for containing a wire harness 11 therethrough, and a cover 3 covering its upper opening. Sidewalls 5A, 5B erected at both ends of a bottom plate 4 have unit sidewall plates 6 which are divided longitudinally isometrically at a fine pitch. The plates 6 are connected at the adjacent phases to each other via an infinitesimal clearance 9, and easily laid down outward of the body 2 to be set. Female locking recesses 8 to be locked to make locking protruding stripes 7 of the lower side of the cover 3 are provided at the upper ends of the plates 6. The width L of the plate 6 is the value in which the branch wire bundle 12 of the maximum size of the harness 11 can be inserted. Thus, it can rapidly dealt with the circuit configuration change of the harness.</p> |
