<p>The electrical connector, with at least two opposed male contacts (1, 2) has an insulating block (4) containing a metal sleeve (8), open at its ends and resilient in a transverse direction. The first contact (1) is positioned within the sleeve (8), so that a transverse gap is defined between the contact (1) and the wall (9) of the sleeve (8), into which the second contact (2) is inserted. The two contacts (1, 2) are pressed together along their length by the resilience of the sleeve (8). Pref. the metal sleeve (8) and the two male contacts (1, 2) are all of the rectangular section, with their short sides across the transverse direction.</p> |
