Precious metal and silica-alumina based catalyst and hydroisomerisation treatment process for heavy feeds

摘要

A new catalyst compsn. contains 0.05-10% of a noble metal of Gp.VIII deposited on an amorphous silica-alumina support contg. 5-70% of SiO2 and a surface area, BET, of 100-500 m<2>/g. It also has a mean pore dia. of 1-12 nm. The porous vol. of the pores with mean dia. /!3 nm is greater than 40% of the total porosity; dispersion of the noble metal is 20-100%; and the coefft. of distribution of the noble metal is greater than 0.1.
