PURPOSE: To stop ignition even when fire is initiated by the spark of a contact for a switch by a method wherein wire nets are prepared in double and paper is pinched between the wire nets or a tank is attached to supply water to the paper and. contain moisture in air. CONSTITUTION: Thin paper 3, such as tissue paper and the like, is laid on the whole surface of a fine-meshed wire net 2 made of a metal having good heat conductivity. Another wire net 4 is laid thereon and retained by hooks and the wire nets are attached to the room side of a ventilating fan 6 through the other hooks. According to this method, easily available paper can be utilized and ignition can be precluded when gas is ignited in the part of the ventilating fan since the room side of the filter is made of a wire net. On the other hand, cleaning is simple since the cleaning is constituted of throwing of paper and washing of the wire nets. Further, when a small water tank 9 is attached to the wire net to deliver water into the pinched paper, moisture is propagated to the whole of the paper by capillary phenomenon whereby more highly air cleaning effect and fire preventing effect can be obtained. |
