<p>PURPOSE: To measure the temperature of the steel shell used for the oven body such as a blast furnace, molten metal laddle, and hot metal gutter. CONSTITUTION: In a method for measuring the temperature distribution of steel shell such as a converter, a blast furnace, and a hot metal gutter by an optical fiber thermometer, a metal pipe 1 is arranged along the temperature distribution measurement path of the surface of a steel shell 4, the surface of the steel shell 4 and the metal pipe 1 are fixed at a certain interval of the distance resolution or less of an optical fiber temperature distribution meter 3 in the longitudinal direction of the metal pipe 1, and an optical fiber 2 is inserted into the pipe to measure the temperature distribution of the steel shell 4, thus simplifying the execution for measuring the temperature distribution, and at the same time accurately knowing the temperature distribution.</p> |
