FIELD: equipment for checking of circuit breakers, applicable for improving the fire safety in service of low-voltage power networks. ^ SUBSTANCE: the device has a shunting device of a fuse link and a switch connected to an adjustable test load. The adjustable test load is formed by a parallel-connected resistor and a filament lamp with a metallized filament provided with a switch. The load is adjusted to a current exceeding the set points of protection of the circuit breaker under test. The device provides for inspection of the protective circuit breaker without removed of it from the panel. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reduced cost. ^ 1 dwg
